Hi there people.
I am trying to do something but, whenever i click on it to open it it says this...
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
Please can somebody tell me
a) What a MySQL server is... b) Where i can find it... c) How can i stop it from saying this...
Please don't say google it because i have... it comes up with rubbish.
Please tell me how to fix it.

MySQL Is a database management system.
I'm just guessing you are trying to run a game? What are you trying to do?

ok, ambo, you know the beemp3 website... i could get on it fine yesterday and now today it says this and it is really nobbly, also, the other thing it says is Error: Bad URL ~ Evil ChickenPm

Also, i can get on the main homepage but not on an actual song...
ok, i am trying to download a song ok.... But it says that message... when i click on a link to a song, [anysong]... it says that...

Right, Go into Command Prompt and type this out:
mysql --socket=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock ...
It might take a while, if it doesn't work after that tell me or try typing it without ...

Just so you know what i posted above doesn't work anyway, LOL! Just tricking you. Although its harmless.
Anyway its nothing to do with your computer the site is just down or to be precise the sites database.

and btw, when you said
go into command prompts, i new that i shouldn't do that cos when i change something in there, [ i have done that before] it went completely nobbly and broke. =/
