A guide on how to Destroy any vehicle

Hey guys, there are a number of different vehicles on Halo 3, and each are weak in their own ways.

Good weapons to use against Land Vehicles:

• Rocket Launcher, good for totally blowing up the vehicle with a direct hit.
  
• Sniper Rifle, if you are a good shot, it shouldn't be too hard to hit the driver out of a mongoose or warthog.
  
• Brute Shot, this is very effective in flipping over mongooses, and even ghosts.
  
• Grenades, frag grenades are good to throw people off vehicles, while spike and sticky grenades are good for killing.
  
• Plamsa Pistol, by charging this baby up, you can stop a vehicle for just enough time to hi-jack it.

Good weapons to use against Air Vehicles:

• Spartan Laser, the best, quickest, most efficient way to totally devastate a flying aircraft. This weapon may take a little while to warm up, but the final blast is crippling.
  
• Missile Pod, with a lock-on target and homing missiles, this is one of the most effective ways of blasting your opponent from the sky!
  
• Sticky and Spike grenades are mostly efficient when they hit the target. The trick is making the hit though

Vehicles:

• Mongoose, Try shooting the front of the Mongoose. Right underneath the front is the most venerable spot, so even a well placed grenade can destroy it.
  
• Warthog, same as the mongoose, right under the front.
  
• Ghosts, the best way to take these out it to either snipe out the driver, or blow up the front. Beware the the front will take a direct hit from almost any weapon, but by the second hit it will be done.
  
• Prowler, if you payed attention in "The Ark," you would know prowlers can easily be vacated of all people by shooting a rocket at the lower part of the front. This doesn't blow up the vehicle, but killed everyone. To blow this vehicle up, it usually takes 2 shots, or a good hit to the middle.
  
• Chopper, aiming for the twin-blades at the front is the way to go. These are actually very brittle, especially when going in a head-on collision against another vehicle
  
• Wraiths, as you should know, the back is very vulnerable. Just hit off the plating, and the fan, and it's done.
  
• Scorpion, probably the hardest vehicle to kill, this usually take a lot of camping and shooting with rockets. There are no real weak spots, except maybe the back (similar to a wraith, but not as fragile)
  
• Scarab, take it out from the inside, destroy the shield, and blow up the engine
  
• Shade, a good hit with a strong weapon will blow it off it's turret. Otherwise, either run into it with another vehicle, or shoot out the gunner
  
• Hornet, Use a missile pod, or laser for best results, other flying vehicles are very effective against it
  
• Banshee, again, a missile pod and laser.

Here are some more thingys for it:

The turret is quite weak on the scorpion but it is not easy to get to, if you can get to the turret it only takes a few hits or about 2 sticky grenades to destroy it. But that is very tricky so it is best just to fire rockets at it or hijack it.

The hornet is weak if you punch the tail but that's almost impossible because it is in the air (unless some noob is driving it). The banshees wings are very weak but like with the hornet you can't really get to them.

The ghosts wings (or whatever they are) are very weak and so is the inside, but the front is easier to get to.

The warthogs window is a very good weak spot, it can destroy the warthog in 3-5 punches or just 1-2 sticky grenades.
